Representing the style of Kamoizumi since 1972, this sake has not undergone carbon filtration. Golden yellow sake with fragrant nose of spice and fresh mushroom, with hints of minerals. Full bodied and refreshing. It is recommended drunk both chilled and warmed.

My first time trying sake, and I love it. I got this for it’s claimed “fragrant nose of spice”, to remind me of the おとそ they have for New Year in western Japan. And yes it is indeed wonderful, nice and full flavour. I only like it warm, Jōkan or Nurukan (40〜45 C), where it’s flavours and very special mushroomy aroma come out.
Love the golden colour. Have not tried it warm but definitely great when ***** cold. I can see why this is a flagship product.
