Haginotsuyu – Handcrafted Japanese Sake Since the Edo Period

For over 270 years, Haginotsuyu has been brewing premium sake in Katsuno, Takashima-cho, near the shores of Lake Biwa in Japan’s historic Omi region. Founded during the Kan’en era of the Edo period, our name—meaning “Dew of the Bush Clover”—reflects the natural beauty surrounding our brewery.

We craft our sake using locally grown Omi rice and pure water from Mt. Hira, creating a mellow, smooth flavor with a clean finish. Guided by our philosophy, “Sake to savor, not to get drunk,” every bottle invites mindful enjoyment.

Experience authentic Japanese sake rooted in tradition, nature, and craftsmanship.
