SAKE SWEETNESS

JAPANESE NAME
Tsukino Katsura Daigokujyo Nakakumi Junmai Daiginjo Nigori
月の桂 大極上 中汲 純米 大吟釀 にごり酒
DESCRIPTION
Enjoy the fruity aroma, refreshing acidity and smooth texture. It is lightly sparkling like champagne. The aroma of pear spread along with the bubble and delivers freshness. When the bubble settles down, it adds the aromas of rice and bread. The flavor of rice and umami remains on your tongue. This sake was made from IWAI rice from a special contract with a Fushimi rice farmer. It has a luxurious and elegant taste.
SOMMELIER'S NOTES
This brewery was the first to brew nigorizake, the most well-known of its kind. Recommended with Hot Pot and Sukiyaki. One of my favourite Nigoris.
