The aroma of Sanran Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki is elegant and expressive, reminiscent of green apple and quince. On the palate, a soft sweetness unfolds, followed by a clean astringency and bitterness that balance perfectly with a pleasant acidity. The experience concludes with a rich, full-bodied finish.
While it is captivating enough to be enjoyed on its own as the "star of the show," it also pairs beautifully with white fish sashimi, fruit salad, avocado salad, chilled cream soups, or prosciutto.
When served chilled at around 10°C, it offers a crisp and refreshing clarity; at room temperature (15–20°C), the sweetness expands and becomes more pronounced.
