"Shinpaku 18" stands as a testament to the artistry of the Hourai brand.
Special quality Yamada Nishiki harvested in the Miki area of Hyogo Prefecture and took 150 hours to polish to an advanced 18% level by carving only the white centre of the grain into a crystal sphere.
It was extracted slowly at low temperature using the traditional bag hanging method, and was ideally pasteurized in a bottle and stored and aged in a freezing refrigerator at -10°C.
Its elegant appearance is reminiscent of a graceful Phalaenopsis orchid. The umbrella at the top of the bottle is decorated with colorful costumes from the Toukeiraku festival, a festival held in the Hida Takayama region. Decorated with gorgeous and vivid patterns of the traditional craft "Hida dyeing."
Refreshing scent of fresh white peaches and crisp apples, with no hint of bitterness. The texture is silk smooth, complimented by delicate sweetness and a lingering finish. Available with presentation box.
