Description
Yukishibori Honjozo Namagenshu is a young sake which has not been matured but is shipped out immediately after brewing; it is also an undiluted and unpasteurized sake. It therefore has the fresh acidity of the newly pressed sake, but also the deep umami typical of kimoto sake.
"Yukishibori” means “Pressed in the Snow,” the image of a sake brewery in a snowy landscape in Daishichi’s Tohoku region: while the sake is pressed inside the brewery, outside snow is falling.
Chestnut, cheese cereal, cream. A very complex sake, beginners are welcome to try this sake to know what a real multi-layered sake tastes like!
