In this Nomi-Kai, follow us as we travel from Miyazaki Prefecture Aka "heaven for Shochu" to the Historic Island Okinawa! We will be exposing your palate to a wide variety of aromas, taste profiles and stimulating points up for debate.
If this is your 1st introduction to Shochu, here's what you need to know - it is a Japanese distilled spirit, typically made from rice, barley, sweet potatoes, buckwheat, or brown sugar.
How do you enjoy it? Here're 4 simple ways to sip your shochu - On the Rocks, Cold Water Mix, Hot Water Mix, With Sparkling Water and Cocktails.
As an added bonus, one of the featured Shochu is a hidden unicorn in plain sight. Production is extremely limited from the brewery and so is the availability! Once it's sold out, it highly unlikely to be restocked.
