Taiun Sake Brewing was founded in 2021 by a Taiwanese. Chen Weijen, a Taiwanese who came to Shimane Prefecture in 2008 as an exchange student because of his interest in Japanese mythology, discovered another interest once he arrived, sake. The brewery exports its sake only to Taiwan and Hong Kong. This is the first time its made available to Singapore.
