Besides the Imayotsukasa Golden Koi grand prize, there are 4 more ultra-premium sake in the prize pool, and we're limiting to 50 sets of lucky draw only - so you can have more chance to tio tao pio (and even more chance if you buy more than 1 draw) 😉! 

We released only 50 prosperity boxes with 2 sakes in each box. The Top prizes are premium Junmai Daiginjos that are not included in the drop rate of the main prizes. There are 5 total grand prizes, 2 types of Top prizes, 9 types of main prizes, 15 types of other prizes. No boxes will include the exact same sakes. It is possible to receive 2 Junmai Daiginjos in the same box, and each box will include at least 1 Junmai Daiginjo / Daiginjo.

About the Grand Prize, Imayotsukasa Gold Koi Nishikigoi (worth $738)

1. It's super exclusive, only 84 bottles produced this year, worldwide
2. We only managed to get our hands on 6 bottles, one of which we are using for this event
3. The pottery bottle is dunked in pure gold
4. The box which holds the bottle is made of handcrafted Paulownia wood
5. The characteristics of the sake are kept secret, reserved for those privileged to taste it

Daishichi Junmai Daiginjo Tamayori Gozen Kikyo ($618)

“Kikyo” is one of the most luxurious single-vintage sakes used at official events of the temples on Mt Koya.

A powerful, umami-rich sake of the highest quality, which is extremely sophisticated and yet has wild charms. Tastes better after resting, with hint of sandalwood and muscat on the nose, Buttery, light yet complex flavours.

Daishichi Junmai Daiginjo Myoka Rangyoku ($518)

Gorgeous and complex, this sake reaches perfection through a longer, more powerful process of maturation. It is the ultimate accompaniment for the finest cuisine.

Chill to 10-13 degrees C. Pour about 1/3 into a large glass and swirl it gently. In the glass the sake awakens from its sleep, and gradually loosens. Enjoy the complex scent and the strong and dense taste. Goes with Lobster, Sea bass, Iberian Pork Saute.

Toko Junmai Daiginjo Fukuro-tsuri Juuhachi ($268)

Made with Yukimegami rice (Yamagata rice grown specifically for premium sake) polished down to only 18%
Filtered using the drip-sake method (Shizuku)
The sake comes in a beautiful wooden box making it a great gift and display
Currently Toko's most premium sake.

Manotsuru Daiginjo Nishiki no Mano ($268)

This is the Shizuku portion of the famous Manotsuru Maho Daiginjo, which represents around 5-8% of the production. Very limited production, it is both gorgeous and elegant. Elegance with clarity of flavors. This is the best part of the award winning Maho Daiginjo.
