2020 has been quite a year. It has been a year of unexpected change and with it, we've also tried many new things in tears and laughter.

We had to change our business model when the pandemic hit us and Singapore went into circuit breaker. We ventured into B2C and launched our website, theartofsake.com.

Instead of doing sake pairing at restaurants, we moved to zoom meetings and our "Sake On-nomi" was born. Doing our online event non-stop every 2 weeks this year, we completed our 18th session! We can't believe how far we came from a fun, informal and local-inspired packaging to printing proper bottle labels and one-upping ourselves on the placemat designs with every session. We often joke that our office is now a mini bottling factory - each and every mini bottles are painstakingly washed, filled, bottled and delivered every session. Even so, the continuous support for our on-nomi made everything worth it. We hope that you've found them enjoyable and educational!

With no experience, we tried our hands at video making, scripting sake introductions while trying to keep them entertaining. We are always very hearten when you tell us you've come because you watched our videos on YouTube. Once, we even hosted a Facebook Live. That was fun too.

Even though Warehouse Sales in this year were scaled down, we still managed to raise funds for charity. Due to your overwhelming support at our recent Pre-Christmas Warehouse Sale, we managed to raise a total of $960. We also received $490.79 in donations over the last 9 months on our website, which we matched and rounded up the donations to $2000.

A big THANK YOU for making this happen. Moving forward into 2021, we want to increase our support to help the Children of Singapore and bring smiles to them beyond the festive season.
