Amabie is a legendary sea monster in Japanese folklore. Drawings of it is said to stave off disease. This is a special sake released by Dewazakura to pray that the effects of coronovirus will soon be gone, and return to peaceful days.

This sake is refreshing with moderate umami. Great with Ratatouille, seasonal tomatoes and other fresh ingredients.

5* for packaging!

According to japanese folklore this 3 legged mermaid is currently the go to legendary beast to help combat coronavirus. I hope this bottle will ward off the virus for the family. Ok a little info on the sake itself. This is brewed by Dewazakura and it’s a Tokubetsu Junmai, which means it’s made from special grade Dewano Sato rice. Polishing ratio: 55%, ABV 15:5% SMV+1. Aromas: not so distinct, hints of floral notes Dry mouth feel with a long finish. for taste and marketing and packaging ! Afternote: this bottle tastes better closer to room temp than chilled
