About the Grand Prize, Imayotsukasa Gold Koi Nishikigoi (worth $738)
- It's super exclusive, only 84 bottles produced this year, worldwide
- We only managed to get our hands on 6 bottles, one of which we are using for this event
- The pottery bottle is dunked in pure gold
- The box which holds the bottle is made of handcrafted Paulownia wood
- The characteristics of the sake are kept secret, reserved for those privileged to taste it
Toko Junmai Daiginjo Shizuku Yukimegami ($158)
- This is a drip sake (Shizuku) made with a Yukimegami, a sake rice from Yamagata breed specifically for premium sake
- The sake comes in a beautiful wooden box making it a great gift and display
- It's one of Toko's most premium sake
Nito Junmai Daiginjo Omachi 33 (worth $151)
- This is one of the rare Omachi sake that is polished to 33% - One thing worth noticing is that polishing Omachi to this low ratio requires a high level of techniques and patience, so this sake has complex tastes like well balanced sweet fruits with acidity and savouriness
- Same as the other Nito sake in our portfolio, this is a warehouse exclusive item
Daishichi Junmai Daiginjo Shoka (worth $150)
- "Shoka” means “Ode,” in ancient Greece a song of praise to celebrate the triumph of heroes
- The brewery is also a pioneer in flat rice polishing. Normal rice polishing usually wastes starch on the long axis, and the a flat rice polishing ratio of 51% is equal to a normal rice polish of 34%. In this case, Shoka is considered 33-34% polish Ultra-premium sake
- This is also a Shizuku sake and made with the traditional Kimoto method
Hourai Daiginjo Chogin (worth $146)
- One of the most high awarded Junmai Daiginjos in the Sake Market
- It is made with the exclusive drip method, aka Shizuku
- No exchange/refund of boxes are allowed
- The $128 excludes delivery fee of $10 (for orders below $200). To prevent any foul play, no self collection is allowed. Should you choose self collection during check out, we will contact you to add on a shipping fee
- If your order includes other items, we will deliver with the blind box
