It’s been a while since our last virtual tasting, so we decided to do something special for you guys - for sake on-nomi #44, we’ll be tasting a flight of 5 restaurant-exclusive sakes from Senjo!

Situated in Ina City, southern Nagano Prefecture, Senjo Brewery emphasises on techniques, concept and presentation. The limited-edition series "On a night like this..." that we will be tasting this session, is a playful imagery of all the indigenous animals of Nagano gathering to watch the full moon.

The 5 sakes in this series - "Full Moon", "Salamander", "Rock Ptarmigan", "Deer Horn" and "Mountain Trout", are generally lighter-bodied compared to traditional sake, and thus have been well received by young people and foreigners.
